Vetus J. Syracuse is a 1970 graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He earned his A.B. cum laude from Ohio University in 1967. Mr. Syracuse was an Acting Judge/Magistrate in the Euclid Municipal Court from 1974 to 2018. He was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio in 1970, the Federal District Court in 1971, and the United States Tax Court in 1974, and is a current member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, and Justinian Forum.
Several of his cases have established precedents in both Ohio Domestic and Federal Tax Law. Mr. Syracuse established his own law firm in Euclid, Ohio in 1970, and was a sole practitioner until 2004, before establishing the Syracuse Law Office, when his son joined the firm.
