Attorney Vetus Syracuse

Vetus Syracuse joined the firm upon being admitted to the practice of law in Ohio in 2004.


Vetus is a 2004 graduate from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.  Vetus earned his B.A. in Philosophy from Bowling Green State University in 2000 and graduated from their Honor’s Program with University Honors.  He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, and Lake County Bar Association. 


Vetus focuses his practice in the areas of Estate Planning and Probate, Business and Corporate law, Real Estate law, Contracts, Personal Injury, Civil Litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants, and Probate Litigation.  He also completed mediation training in 2014 and is a civil litigation mediator.


Vetus served as a member of the City of Mayfield Heights Board of Zoning Appeals from 2006 to 2011.  Vetus also served as a volunteer Magistrate for the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Diversion Program for the City of Mayfield Heights from 2011 to 2016.  Vetus has also been a member of the Mayfield Village Planning and Zoning Commission since January, 2013, and is currently the Chairman of the Commission.  In addition, he currently serves as the Chairman Pro Tem of the Mayfield Village Board of Appeals, and was a member of the 2015 Mayfield Village Charter Review Commission. Vetus also served as the President of the Cleveland Police Athletic League Board from 2015 to 2016.
