Vetus Syracuse joined the firm upon being admitted to the practice of law in Ohio in 2004.
Vetus is a 2004 graduate from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Vetus earned his B.A. in Philosophy from Bowling Green State University in 2000 and graduated from their Honor’s Program with University Honors. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, and Lake County Bar Association.
Vetus focuses his practice in the areas of Estate Planning and Probate, Business and Corporate law, Real Estate law, Contracts, Personal Injury, and Civil Litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants.
Vetus is the Civil Magistrate in Lyndhurst Municipal Court and also serves as an Acting Judge in Lyndhurst Municipal Court .
Vetus is also the Chairman of the Mayfield Village Planning and Zoning Commission, of which he has been a member since 2013. In addition, Vetus is the Chairman of the Mayfield Village Zoning Board of Appeals, of which he has been a member since 2014. He previously served as a member of the City of Mayfield Heights Board of Zoning Appeals from 2006-2011. Vetus also served as a volunteer Magistrate for the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Diversion Program for the City of Mayfield Heights from 2011 to 2016. Vetus also served on the 2015 Mayfield Village Charter Review Commission.
